What this site collects, why, and who else can see it. It is short because the site does little: there is no advertising and no tracking cookie, and visits are only counted anonymously.
Who is responsible
Wexentra, a fully remote web, software and infrastructure studio. For anything in this notice, write to contact@wexentra.com and a person will answer.
What is collected
When you send a project inquiry: your name, email address and phone number, and, if you fill them in, your company, what the business does, your city and the country your dialing code belongs to. Also the project type and budget range you pick, anything you write in the brief, and which language of the site you were reading.
When you open a client portal account: your email address and a password, which is stored by our authentication provider as a hash and is never visible to us.
Technically: a 2-letter country code, worked out from your connection by our host so the phone field can start on the right dialing code. Your address itself is not stored. Alongside a submitted inquiry we keep a salted, one way hash of it, which lets us count repeated submissions without being able to recover the address.
That is the whole list of what identifies you. Separately, Vercel Web Analytics counts page views and a few anonymous events: which sections are reached, how far into the form people get and which buttons are used. It sets no cookies, does not identify you, and nothing you type is sent to it. The site carries no advertising pixels or third party embeds.
Why
To answer your inquiry, and, if we work together, to run the project and keep in touch about it. The hash above exists only to stop the form being flooded.
Under the GDPR the basis is your consent for the inquiry, the performance of a contract once there is one, and our legitimate interest in keeping the form usable.
Who else sees it
3 companies, each acting on our instructions: Supabase, which hosts the database and the portal's sign in; Vercel, which serves this site and counts the anonymous visits described above; and Zoho, which carries our email.
Nobody else. Your information is not sold, rented or shared for advertising, and it never has been.
Cookies
This site sets none, which is why you are not being asked to agree to any. If you sign in to the client portal, your browser keeps a session there so you stay signed in; it stays on your device and is removed when you sign out.
How long it is kept
An inquiry that does not become a project is kept for up to 2 years, so we can recognize you if you come back, and then deleted. Project records are kept for as long as the work and its paperwork require. Portal accounts are deleted on request.
What you can ask for
A copy of what we hold, a correction, or its deletion. Ask at contact@wexentra.com and we will do it within 30 days. You can also object to us holding it at all, and if you are in the EU you can complain to your data protection authority.
Children
This is a studio's website for businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. Nothing already collected is used for a new purpose without asking you first.
